While we certainly welcome donations, there are many other ways to get involved with us at Foundation Events, from becoming a volunteer at upcoming events to taking a class to enhance your event production skills.
BECOME AN EVENT VOLUNTEER
We frequently produce events throughout the United States and welcome volunteer support for day-of-event tasks like site setup, admissions, guest services, bartending, and other roles. If you’re interested in helping to bring an event to life, send an email to info@foundationeventsecc.org letting us know you’re interested and a little about you. We’ll reach out when we have a volunteer need for events in your area.
TAKE A CLASS
Full-day EVENTS101 Pop-Ups are classes that visit various regions throughout the United States each year. These events are open to the public, bringing foundational theories, best practices, and practical insights from experienced events instructors to students of all backgrounds and expertise.

BRING EVENTS101 TO YOUR TEAM
Whether you’re a for-profit or nonprofit organization, if you have a desire to create or enhance your events programs and capabilities, a private EVENTS101 training may be the best next step for your team. Foundation Events will work with you to select the right topics for a session just for those responsible for your events, from board members and executive leadership to staff, donors, and important others.

We’re always on the lookout for potential interns. If you have a passion for events, we’d love to learn more about you. Whether you are a mid-career professional interested in a change of pace, a college student in a tourism or events program, or wanting to dip your toes in the events world for other reasons, definitely drop us a line. We’re able to engage with interns across the country, so you don’t necessarily have to be in the Washington, DC area to land an internship with us. Depending on your interests and what’s going on with our events schedule, there may be on-site, hybrid, or remote opportunities available. Shoot your shot!
